This is what the Construction Debris Recycling Association calls “Sham Recycling” because very little material is recovered compared to a Certified Green Recycler. In ESI’s case, they claim that they “Recycle” their broken concrete to build the truck roads to the top of the hill, which is a stretch. It all ends up being buried with the rest of the trash instead of being reused in the construction of parking lots or for foundation drainage materials and the like.
